the experiment in vibe began at the violet burning's annual christmas shows in southern california a few years ago. The idea was that the band would perform stripped down, vibe versions of fan favorites. So rather than release a typical 'best of' cd. The band chose to release quieter versions of many of the violet burning's favorite songs. Recorded live in the studio, it has become a fan favorite
