Friends and Family,
The Mission:
We are currently raising support to go to Czech Republic this summer. There are some places in the Czech Republic and elsewhere in Eastern Europe that would love to have us come play and share the gospel. However, the costs to get to these places are very high, and the people who have invited us have very limited resources. We have learned that some of the monies already raised for us to come is from some of the missionaries' own pockets.

We desire that no undue burden is placed on these generous people.
We would rather be able to raise the necessary funds and bless them without financial hardship to them.  We believe God will provide the funds through the generosity of His people.

The Idea:
We want to be able to bring hundreds of CDs that we can give away to
the fans/kids attending this festival.  Due to limited income in their homeland, we want to give them the CDs for free.

Please consider helping us by purchasing a CD from us for $15.
($15 is the equivalent of 1 trip to the movies or 3 starbucks drinks)  
Instead of shipping you the CD, we will give away that CD for free to a fan from the Czech Republic...
We will use the monies raised from the CD purchase towards the cost of the trip.

If you buy 10 CDs, we will give all 10 of them away.

The Cost:
We hope to raise enough money for our plane tickets and travel costs which will be nearly $6,000. Anything above that will be used towards our living costs at home: (rent, health insurance,etc..)  We hope to raise enough monies so the missionaries in the Czech Republic can keep the money they have offered for us to come.

About the Czech Republic and Eastern Europe
background: Communism in Eastern Europe has effectively wiped out talking about Christ and His teachings from the people. Young people from the ages of 20-40 who have been raised Catholic are only Catholic in tradition.

From the CIA's website statistics on religion in Czech Republic: Roman Catholic 26.8%, Protestant 2.1%, other 3.3%, unspecified 8.8%, unaffiliated 59% (2001 census)

A vast majority of the country has no faith and consider themselves atheist.
But the history of the Czech Republic and Bohemia is rich with history and faith.

Most notably Jan Huss, a martyr known for preaching in his own language (not latin) and for his writings proclaiming that no man is the head of the church, rather Christ is. This pre-dated Martin Luther by a hundred years.
